About
Leslie Hansen, Broker
Moving Jacksonville Real Estate
It is rewarding helping people with one of largest investments of their life. It is also enlightening to help play an important role with new beginnings. It’s not just financial; it is about life, your home, and your future. There is nothing more fulfilling than to help people find their new place in life. Whether it is a family set up with great schools, the perfect neighborhood, children making new friends, or professionals placed in an environment that suits their needs, it is much more than a job, it is my livelihood.
I started in real estate in the early 80′s at a very young age as an office manager. My broker at that time encouraged me to get my Real Estate license, and after a couple sales I was definitely “hooked” and ready to go full time. It was a good experience seeing real estate from the management viewpoint prior to actually selling. While in Real Estate, I decided to work and achieve a “Community Property Managers” license. In turn, I then incorporated two successful property management divisions of established real estate firms. This gave me excellent experience with homeowner and condominium associations, budgeting, public speaking, and law. I later decided that focusing on residential Real Estate was much more rewarding and challenging. Over the many years, I have had the great opportunity of working with some of Florida’s top property managers and Real Estate agents, at some of the best Real Estate firms, including my favorite “RE/MAX Real Estate”. I decided to utilize my many years of well rounded real estate experience and open my own company, “Moving Jacksonville Real Estate”.
In my personal time, my main love is boating. My husband; David, son; Shawn, and I live on Julington Creek and belong to “The Captains Club” boating club. “The Captains Club” has been in Jacksonville for over 30 years, and is very involved with community issues concerning our waterways, boating, and fishing. They are the main founder and contributors of the annual “Kingfish Tournament“. Whenever there is personal time available you will find me with my family on our boat. I have pulled many contracts together on the good ole “St Johns River”. If you are a waterfront buyer, you are welcome to a tour of your prospective new home by boat…come aboard!
