Ok, I am very stressed and have come seeking simple answers. My realtor is just confusing me.

Here’s the deal, A friend of mine stopped making payments on their home back in August of 08 and moved to Florida. So there are back payments. My husband and I applied for an fha loan a few months ago to buy the home but the last underwriter decided that we would have to wait just three months to get the loan because my hubby needs just three more months of work time to show paystubs. Both the seller of the home and we share one realtor which wasn’t on purpose, it just happened. So I asked the realtor if we could lease the home and finish out the loan in three months. The sellers are ok with this but the realtor gave me a whole run down of how legal issues come up with this. I do not understand why it would be a legal manner, we simply want to rent to own the home until we get our loan. We are definitely buying the home. The sellers do have an attorney that handles their short sale. So why is our realtor making this hard. We have 2600.00 to put down which was set aside for when we get the loan.

Can someone explain to me what is going on here. I can email back and forth with someone if you need more information on the situation. I am just confused and would like a little clarity.
