I need help in making an important decision! Money or family?
So, my husband is in the U.S. Air Force right now..active duty. The only cool thing about it is a steady paycheck, and the benefits. It’s also a nice feeling knowing he is such a good strong guy fighting for our country. Anyway, we are trying to have a baby, and it’s his last year in the service. We live in Florida, and I like that there is a lot to do there, but other than that I can’t stand it. I have have so much drama with all the military wives, and it drags me down. I am trying to do my own thing, go to school, start a family, but it’s a huge popularity competition. We bought a house like morons, and can hardly afford the payments anymore unless I work my a off, and our bank is ridiculous and can get a away with murder. So, my parents want me to move back closer to them, and my mom wants to be able to help me with my kids when I have them. So, I don’t know what we should do. I would really have him get out next year, and live closer to family, but Im nervous that with this ecomomy he won’t be able to find a job. He is going to college, and will have a little over 2 years left. Plus, if he gets out our credit will be pretty bad because we will have to short sale or forclose our home, but it’s not that great anyway, and my parents want to buy us a home and have us pay rent. What should we do?
by the way–my husband does intend on joining the Airforce reserves, or the Air National Guard when he gets out because it will allow us to get some type of insurance, and a little extra cash, plus there are tons of places here I can get a job at
I used to lean more towards saving my credit, and working full time to keep the house, but then again I miss my family so much, and my husband and I know we made the mistake of moving into a home we couldn’t afford in the first place. Things might be tough the first couple years after getting out, but when I am home it just fits, and I am much less stressed. Money dosn’t seem to matter as much, and my mom is a college professor and works mostly out of the home, so she is very willing to babysit for a few hours during the day while I work part time. Plus, my husband will still have insurance throught the guard, and eventually he is trying to get into a union..like, electrician or operators..of course, when the economy gets better.

How do part time real estate agent make money when their not selling homes?
I’m freshly into real estate. I’m curious as to how other people make a living when the market is down and you have no homes listed with you being sold. Even full time agents also. What type of ways do you find income rather than selling a home. I would like any EXPERIENCED real estate person to answer. I know everyone says don’t get into real estate becuase its 100% commission, but I love it. But I need some good advice. Please help. Thank you.
